Back in the Saddle…

Posted on 22/09/2009 by Steven T Webster in DotNetNuke

Where have I been?  I rediscovered my old site here at overlooktechnology.com as part of a skinning application I was testing and thought – why haven’t I been keeping up with this site?

Well, the list turned out to be pretty long; my job, my other job, projects, bike races, kids, training, testing modules, setting up other people’s websites, testing skins, creating new module, blah, blah, blah.

Well, after coming up with a new skin and layout I liked the look of the site and though it’s time to give this another go.  So, I’m going to try and re-commit to posting regularly on this site and sharing what I find out there in the DNN-O-Sphere.

They other realization I had was the date of the lat post: April 2007.  Wow, I’ve been working with DotNetNuke for a long time.  I‘m guessing I started somewhere in 2005 or 2006.  I’m feeling old now.

Of course, I’ve learned a lot along the way.  I think the platform is becoming solid enough to run enterprise business apps on it and I’ve done a lot with it since then.  I just haven’t been sharing any of it.

So, hopefully, I’ll get my act together and post about some of the things I’ve learned.
